PS3 Districts

Cupertino Union School District is a K-8 district located in the city of Cupertino and several neighboring cities. It has 20 elementary schools and four middle schools with a population of 16,000 students. Visit Cupertino’s Science Page.

Los Altos Elementary School District is a K-8 school district serving children in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, plus areas in Mountain View, Palo Alto, and Cupertino. The 3,500 child district is made up of six elementary (K-6) schools and two intermediate (7-8) schools.

Menlo Park City Schools is a K-8 district of 2,000 students in Menlo Park and Atherton. It has four schools: one middle school, one K-5, one K-2, and one 3-5.

Mountain View–Whisman School District is a K-8 district with 4,500 students located in Mountain View. It includes seven elementary schools and two middle schools.

Newark Unified School District
Newark Unified School District is a K-12 district with approximately 7,000 students. It includes eight elementary schools one middle school and one high school.

Palo Alto Unified School District is a K-12 district with approximately 8,000 students. It includes twelve elementary schools, three middle schools, and two high schools. Palo Alto’s On-Line Science Guide for Teachers, created with support from Hewlett-Packard, provides curricular support for the district’s K-6 Hands-On Science Program.

Redwood City School District is a K-8 district with eight K-8 schools, six K-5 schools, and two 6-8 schools serving over 8,000 students.

San Mateo-Foster City School District is a K-8 district serving over 10,000
students. There are 16 elementary schools and four middle schools.

Santa Clara Unified School District is a K-12 school district. It includes 16 elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, one continuation school, and an adult education center.
